Measure carefully following the directions below to be sure you are ordering the correct size.
Caps/Covers are special ordered to individual measurements and cannot be returned for a refund, so measure carefully. All caps/covers come with the wording "Marine Corps League Auxiliary" embroidered on the cap. Caps are shipped directly to you from the Manufacturer and take 6 to 8 weeks for order to delivery. To order a cover fill out the MCLA Merchandise Order Form, pay for the cover along with other merchandise, and fax the order to our MCLA HQ office at this fax number 703-207-0264.
Additional lettering for your cover, such as Unit name or Department name, should be listed on the order form, depending on which cover you are ordering (ie Unit Cover (red) or Department Cover (blue)). Check with National MCLA Headquarters if additional charges are applied for additional lettering.
Measure the head size by encircling the head slightly above the eyebrows. The newer cap, which is a banana shape, requires that you measure in an oval fashion, higher in the front and lower in the back of the head.
In most cases, members have found that they need to add up to a half an inch to the old measurements in determining the correct size. Keep in mind that, if you wear a full hairstyle, you will need a slightly larger cap.
